Requirement for blueprism certification

The requirements to sit an exam is that you must have a valid Blue Prism Portal account. For the Blue Prism Professional Developer (ADP01) exam you must have first passed the Blue Prism Developer (AD01) exam at least six months earlier. For the Designing Blue Prism Process Solutions (ASD01) exam you must first have passed the Blue Prism Developer (AD01) exam.

Accreditation is valid for life unless the qualifying exam is Blue Prism version specific e.g. Technical Architect. Accreditation here is valid until Blue Prism no longer supports that Blue Prism version.

Registering for an Exam-Step 1

Pearson VUE Account

To create a Pearson VUE VUE account you will need to have a valid Blue Prism Portal account. Blue Prism regularly synchronizes its Portal user data with Pearson VUE. If when creating a Pearson VUE account, your details are not recognized please bear in mind that it could take up to 48 hours for your account data to migrate over to Pearson VUE following the creation of your Portal account.

If you are unsure of your Portal ID log into the Blue Prism Portal and navigate to the My Account page to confirm your Portal ID.

If you are having difficulties creating a Pearson VUE account please contact [email protected] providing your portal ID, first name, last name and name of the exam you wish to sit.

Your first name and last name captured in the Blue Prism Portal and subsequently transferred to Pearson VUE will need to match your government issued ID. You will not be able to change these details in Pearson VUE. Instead please contact [email protected] providing your Portal ID and your preferred first name, middle name and last name.

Registering for an Exam-Step 2

Once you have a Pearson VUE web account you will be able to register for any exams for which you qualify. You will need to choose your exam, exam test centre, date of exam and time of exam.

When registering for an exam you will only be presented with the exams for which you are eligible. The APD01 and ASD01 exams have exam pre-requisites. If you believe you are eligible for these exams but they are not listed, please contact [email protected] providing your portal ID, first name, last name and name of the exam you wish to sit.

After you schedule your exam, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation email detailing your exam date, your exam time, the address and phone number of the test centre and directions to the test centre.

If you are successful in the exam a certificate will be uploaded to your LMS account within 7 days. You can view your certificate by first logging into the Portal and then navigating to the LMS via Learning -> LMS. Within the LMS certificates can be found by selecting “My Activities” and then “External Training”.

  • All vouchers are pre-paid. Vouchers are non-refundable and non-returnable.
  • Vouchers expire 12 months from the date they are issued. Voucher expiration dates cannot be extended. The exam must be taken by the expiration date printed on the voucher.
